Shibu Guruji is the King of Jharkhand

Don’t know how it happend and I wonder what luck these politician have, just 10 months back Shibu Soren lost the by election when he was the CM of Jharkhand and because of which he has to resign from the post of Chief Minister. Then Centre imposed the President rule without giving someone else chance to form the government in the state, reason being Centre might have their own hidden agenda (that BJP should not come back in power). And Jharkhand assembly is declared as suspended. Then in the month of October Election dates were announced after Supreme Court intervened in this matter, so Centre or election commission has to announce the Poll. Than it has been decided that election will take place in 5 phase, as the state is very disturbed because of Naxal movement so it will require the extra amount of forces to protect the Electoral process. The best part of this Election was its result, as there was no single party which has got clear mandate to form the government and all calculation of BJP forming a government there went totally wrong.

Guruji has emerged as a key player in the Assembly results. Now its Guruji who is the King of Jharkhand. Who so ever will form the government in Jharkhand whether its BJP alliance or the Congress alliance they have to take the support of Guruji. And Shibu Soren(Guruji) has made it very clear that he will only support that alliance who will accept him as a Chief Minister, now Congress wants to get the power in Jharkhand as they want another state in their kitty so that they can project themselves as the only solution to the country. All the Best to Guruji, Congress & BJP for forming the government there.

And from my side I only have to say may God Bless Jharkhand.

Ohh… Jharkhand

Poor Jharkhand will remain poor for another 5 years, results have come and there is no single party who is in the position to form the government on his own. The result shows fracture mandate in the assembly elections. I think no matter what you deliver in your campaign to the people they will do what they want to. I really wish if I can change the results. I have been their and seen how and what candidate did for the votes. In my opinion agendas and logics doesn’t help in winning the election what helps is the basic requirement of the voters in that particular region, usually what happens individuals have their own wish, it can be getting a job somewhere or the peace of land or money or you can say a quality food or lavish food, whosoever will promise and provide that in his campaign will get the vote of those individual. And that particular individual is in the position of influencing at least 10 voters around him. Which helps the candidate to win the election, try to understand the philosophy behind this, now candidate has indentified few influential individuals in his/her constituency, what he’ll do he’ll say I do this for you and that for you. You just have to convince your people to vote for me. In this process that particular influential individual got some benefits from the candidate in the form of cash or kind and he starts working for him/her. No one is interested in long term goals what benefit he is getting instantly is more important.

There are so many good candidates who have lost in this assembly polls, did nothing wrong in their campaign but the only problem was the voters who didn’t understand the idea of good representative of theirs in the assembly. I thing it is not the loss of any particular party but the voters. May god bless the Jharkhand.

Update on Jharkhand Elections

As I said agenda and plans doesn’t matter in elections. Specially when you are talking about Jharkhand elections. I was their for more than 2 weeks, and I’ve observed locals were mad about Helicopters, if they came to know that Helicopter is coming in their village they will come at the site in thousands, no matter which party leaders is coming they will listen to them but their main focus will be on Helicopter. And political parties understand this psychic/phenomena very well, so they organize these Helicopter events in every constituency on a regular basis, specially when voting dates are nearby. I am not saying that Helicopter is the only catch point. Leaders also plays a vital role because who so ever comes in the Helicopter he is a big leader of that party and also a good orator, he does say that select my candidate and he will do this for you, but I don’t know voters get convince with that or not. Most of the time not, because they listen to every party & Leaders, and they are not concerned about what he/she is saying. As I said they(Voter) will go for instant profit, if some leader or party has given them some amount of money or have organized a lavish dinner with non veg and wine for them they all will start praising that particular guy and cast their vote in his/her favor. If someone thinking on the lines of development of the region and its people he will definitely not get votes from the small income group population. And candidates understand this very well and are not talking about development of the area but helping them monetarily.

A Glimpse of Jharkhand Election

I was in Jharkhand from last 2 weeks, my purpose of going to Jharkhand was to observe the electoral process there. I was in Garwah district and had a chance to see the election very closely in this context I’ve traveled a lot in that particular district and surrounding areas. I was highly disappointed to see the people who were fighting for the Legislature have no agenda with them and were all fighting on the power of money. Most of the candidates were government contractors by profession, and were filthy rich and now are trying their luck in politics. Result of the assembly poll will announce on 23rd December. Let’s see who wins and who forms the government in Jharkhand. But in all this happening I have a story to tell, and this story is about a candidate who was fighting on Jharkhand Vikas Morcha’s Ticket in Garwah and was active on his constituency from last 6 months. Much before the elections were announce there, actually he was distributing money to the villagers like anything so that he became a known face in Garwah so that whenever election will takes place he can fight as people already know him. His way of working was very simple he has money and was distributing and publicizing himself in a big way like if someone goes to him for something he just give them some amount of money to show how concern he is for them and market this in a big way. You must be thinking why people or villagers goes to him, there is a reason majority of the population in Jharkhand live below the poverty line they don’t have money to fulfill their daily needs. Jharkhand as a state belongs to Schedule Tribes(as majority is Tribal population) and these tribes lived in Jungles throughout their life(now they have started farming as well) but still are dependent on forests for their earnings. They take woods, Bidi Patta, and planty of other natural things from the forest and sell these things at a very low rates to the middle man. By this also they don’t earn much but have to do planty of labour to earn that much money also. So the moral of the story is if someone give some amount of money to them for their basic needs they’ll follow him/her without thinking whether he’ll do something good for them or not.

Don’t know what is the future of Jharkhand after this assembly polls but I am sure of one thing whoever will forms the government their, he will definitely not going to work for the benefits of the locals.

I will write more about my experiences of Jharkhand Election in the coming days. But I really want something good should happen there.

Jharkhand Election Part 2

Right now my concentration is on Jharkhand elections, it seems as an another election, but really we don’t want another election we want an election which should be fair enough or may be not only fair but also should be a decisive for one party government. The only benefit with one party government would be that, they will have one agenda to work on. Usually what happen when you have collation government the different ideology come together and start working for the benefit of the people together, which most of the time doesn’t happen, as we have seen in the past specially in Jharkhand multi party government doesn’t work. There are so many restrictions come when different party form a government together, the biggest problem occurs is “the distribution of power”. In Madhu Koda’s Case he was an independent candidate who became the chief minister of Jharkhand not on his merit but because certain party wants to keep rival party out of the power, so they conspired and make him the CM. after that what happen. He became the puppet in the hands of the supporters and started working for their and his own benefit instead of the state. All this happen because Mr Koda also knew that without their support he will not become the CM.

Anyway now the idea is to form a government which has some power with them and who can take some decision which should decisive and for the benefit of the people of the state. Jharkhand is the state which is already has a big problem in the form of Naxal, who are running a parallel government in the state specially in the Chota Nagpur Plateau area, where they do what they want to do. May be political parties have seen all this and aware of this problem also, but only by knowing this will not solve the problem one has to do something concrete for this, because the day will come when this problem will haunt everyone, still they are haunting but government can cure this as situation is still under control and one need only a willpower to overcome with this problem.

Elections in Jharkhand(India)

Elections in Jharkhand(India) are going on, no one knows who'll form the government. All the political parties are claiming that people of Jharkhand should support them to fight against corruption, but the fact is that no Party has the clear agenda in their mind on what basis they are fighting. Every party says that we'll do this and do that for you, but the motivation is not there. Jharkhand is the most rich regions of South East Asia in terms of Natural resources. After Madhu Koda, people(Political Parties) do have there personal goals. but no one knows the exact truth/reason behind Madhu Koda's exposer, I have a question is he the only corrupt politician in the country or maybe he has not fulfill the demands of particular party or person because of which he got caught, there are so many possibilities in Madhu Koda's case but we as a common man will never come to know about this. Now I really want to know are we actually going to form a government which will be for the people and by the people. I have a big doubt in this. I know I am expecting too much from our common men but I still want people/voter should understand the importance of Vote.
