Corruption an incurable Disease

Corruption has become synonym of Politics, though it was there since the evolution of mankind on this Planet Earth but has reached to its pinnacle only in present Century and the credit goes to the Politicians, as this is what we are seeing in India and across the world. Whosoever has the power in his/her hands, corruption comes automatically to them.

When we talk about India as a Democratic country we see democracy has played a bigger role in making Nation corrupt, or I can put it in another way that is “Politician has used democracy as a tool of corruption” as the people of India themselves have given power to the corrupts and still have not realized what mistake they have done and are still doing the same. The definition of democracy has changed from By the People for the People to “Corruption by the People and Corruption for the People”. The word Corruption has added in the definition of Democracy.

There are many organizations that are fighting against corruption in their own capabilities some are very big some are small, but corrupt people at the top did not give a blink to any such organization and their agitations. Why and how corruption becomes so strong that no moral values have left in anyone’s eye. Now the situation is so bad that no one cares about corruption happening surrounding them, all of them are more concern about their own personal benefits and gains.

There are many points on which one can raise a question, but only when we are concerned about corruption. No one wants to take initiative in fighting against corruption. Instead majority of them just want to be a mare spectators, although they all encountering someway or the other form of corruptions in their day to day life i.e. Autowala or Taxiwala doesn’t go with meter, Coolie at the station Charges whatever he feels like, one has to bribe the Clark or the Babu’s for license, Ration Card for registration of marriage, death and birth. It shows how deeply corruption has gone very deep into our society. Everyone wants to make quick money, no mater how it comes or from where it comes. Instant gains are the main desire of the people.

This is the only problem which has come from the upper section (namely politicians) of the society. We all talk about the problems which we are facing on a daily basis because of corruption, but we also know that there is no remedy to it. It is like AIDS which has no cure as of now. I wish we as a citizen of India do something towards corruption collectively.

The Curious Case of Elected Civic Society

Just read the comment of Mr. Sitaram Yechury and Mr. Manish Tiwari’s in a newspaper and was wondering are they the real representatives of the real civic society of our country if yes than why are they opposing Lokpal Bill in its present form. If everyone is equal in our society, than why is this discrimination? Is Prime Minster and Judiciary should really not come under scrutiny? If so than why are we discussing the Lokpal Bill, the most hilarious comment has been given by Mr Yachury as he says “The Issue raised by Civil Society activists are important. But I don’t think anybody can claim that they represent the entire civil society. If they are civil society who are we? Uncivil Society?” first of all this statement has a smell of egoism in it as he says they represent actual civic society not like Anna who raises a banner against the government and became the representative of the society. According to these so called “Rajya Sabha MP” who himself is not the actual representative of elected Civic society as he claims himself one of them, because he has been elected by the MPs and MLAs of his party from the xyz state and that is why he is in the upper house of the Parliament which actually doesn't have the representative of the common people.

When we see the constitution of India we see that we have a set democratic structure through which a common men vote and elect his/her representative to the parliament, so that the nominated or elected representative raise there concern in the Parliament and help them to live a good life. When we have such kind of structure clearly mention in our Constitution the question arises a commoner can choose anyone from the list of candidate given to him at the time of election. And as we know we have a multi party democratic system in our constitution then definitely we have a right to choose anyone from any party and according to our self belief we chose someone and think he/she is the right person who can raise our voice in the Parliament.

My point of telling all this is very simple when I select someone from the list of different political Parties other then the ruling party is simply because I think he is the right person and can represent me correctly in the parliament or in the Legislative Assembly. And according to me he is my government. Then how this single party with maximum number of representatives who is not my selected party with the help of other regional parties forms the government in the centre and how can they claim themselves the real representatives of civic society. Have they consulted with the voters who have not voted them to represent them in the Parliament? Than how can they form a government and take decision for me.

Can Yoga Cure Corruption?

Now its Baba Ramdev’s turn, hope he’ll achieve something out of this. As he has spent lot of money for arranging such a huge arrangement. So the return is a must. And I guess he is getting the returns also, as we see so much of hype has been created by the media to his Satyagrah and all being covered by all the major Newspaper and TV across the country. And I hope at least this time some concrete solution will come out. Because we are seeing Anna Hazre’s effort is going in vein and nothing has happened since he broke his hunger strike apart from Lokpal committee formation and the meetings and all.

I was thinking why suddenly Baba Ramdev has thought of doing Satygrah against corruption when Mr Hazare was already did something similar. So my conclusion on this is or should I put it the other way round which is in my opinion when Baba Ramdev came in support of Mr. Anna Hazre back in April he must be thinking that no one knows Anna Hazare in this part of the country and because of him(Baba Ramdev) he’ll(Anna Hazare) get some media attention. But the problem arises when Anna Hazare suddenly becomes an overnight star and government also gave importance to him. And all this happened because of Media support and through that people of our country have also started talking and supporting this event in their own ways which trigger the panic button in the government and they came forward to talk to him. As I know or if you happened to be at Jantar Mantar on any normal day you’ll find hundred and thousand’s of people are demonstrating and giving Dharna’s against government’s wrong doing to them and to the society but no one cares nor the government or the common people who passes through that area. But in the Anna Hazare Case things were different which no one has ever thought in his/her wildest of dream that this could also happen

There is another incident of people support we have seen at the time of Mumbai Attack. If you remember same kind of rage was there when Mumbai attack took place everyone from all sects and class of the society raised the voice against terrorism and at that point of time people were ready to do anything for the sake of their mother land and also the rage was against the Congress lead UPA government. Reports says that if at that point of time election would have taken place then the Congress might have lost very badly. But slowly everyone forgot the incident and started leading a normal life as if nothing has happened. I know that it’s not the person whose job is to act but the government who has to act, but nothing has happened as we are still talking to Pakistan on the same issue of terrorism. My context of raising this point was just to tell people that nothing will happen its just a bubble which will initially become big but at the end will burst.

Don’t you think it looks like that we all have gone back to pre independence era where people like Mahatama Gandhi and all use to do these types of activities for the removal of Britishers from the country, so that we can run our country on our own and do good for it’s people. I guess exactly the same thing is happening now. also Only the role of Britishers has been replaced by this Congress lead UPA government who is just exploiting our “mother land” and many Baba’s and social activists are trying to get into Mr. MK Gandhi’s shoes to get the mileage from the society and media.

So back to my point that why suddenly Baba ji has decided to do Satyagrah. Is he somewhere thinking what the hell? How it is possible what do I do to build the name in the society apart from Yoga, it was my Idea or agenda which has been hijacked by Mr. Hazare with some alteration into that and suddenly someone whom no one knows till yesterday has became an overnight star like Hindi movie hero.

My Point is Why Baba Ramdev is fighting for something which at least I believe will never be achieved in our country. I have a reason to believe in this because there is no past evidence in our 60 year old history of post independence which shows a single politician has ever been punished for his/her wrong doing, in spite of seeing so many scams/corruption in last 60 years. That is why I am saying that it is just a propaganda being created to get a mileage from media though everyone knows that Baba Ramdev is already very big, but still people like to see him doing something apart from Yoga and specially when I(Baba Ramdev) have the mass support with me and have the agenda of fighting an election on my own in the coming year then such issues gives a better mileage than Yoga because we all know the whole India is not into Yoga practices.

Hope we get Independence soon from this corrupt government and these double faced Social activists.

कश्मीर और मेरा वजूद

आज 25 जनवरी है और कल हमारा 62व गणतंत्र दिवस है इस पवन दिन पे हमारे देश की राष्ट्रपति महोदया राजपथ पर तिरंगा फह्रेंगी और सेना को सलामी देंगी. ऐसा इसलिए होता है क्योंकि हमारा राष्ट्र एक गणतंत्र राष्ट्र है और हम 26 जनवरी को हर साल इसे मानते और दुनिया को ये सन्देश भी देते है की हम एक मजबूत और मह्तवपूर्ण राष्ट्र बन कर उभर रहे हैं.

आज जब की हर तरफ देशप्रेम का माहौल होना चाहिए ऐसे मे भारतवर्ष का एक राज्य जिसे विशेष राज्य का दर्जा प्राप्त है वहां, राष्ट्रीयता और तिरंगे का खून किया जा रहा है सिर्फ इसलिए क्योंकि वहां के मुख्यमंत्री (यानि की मै) का अपना कोई वजूद नहीं है, और मै यही नहीं समझ पा रहा हूँ की कश्मीर मे मेरा क्या भविष्य है.. मुझे यह जानने मे ज्यादा दिलचस्पी है की क्या मै इस पद के लायक हूँ. क्या मै एक राज्य को अपने बलबूते पर चला सकता हूँ या फिर मुझे हर कार्य करने से पहले अपने पिताजी(केंद्र सरकार) या फिर अपने आकाओं जो की मेरे राज्य से दूर बैठे हैं से सलाह मशविरा करना होगा. मुझे ये समझाना बहुत ज़रूरी है की मेरा अपना वजूद क्या है. और क्या मै इस लायक हूँ की मै अपने फैसले खुद ले सकूँ

ऐसे समय जब की मुझे एक सन्देश अपने राज्य के लोगों को देना चाहिए की मै जो कर रहा हूँ उसमे आप लोगों का और हमारे राज्य का भला है पर मै ऐसा न करके ये बता रहा हूँ की मेरे बस में कुछ नहीं है जैसा केंद्रीय सरकार और फिरका परस्त लोग कहेंगे मै वैसा ही करूँगा. मुझे शायद अच्हा लगता है जब कोई मेरे देश को गली देता है, और मुझे तब भी अच्हा लगता है जब मेरे राज्य मे गैर मुल्क का झंडा फहराया जाता है.. हाँ शायद मुझे तब भी अच्हा लगता है जब जब मेरे सिपाहियों पर पत्थर फेके जाते हैं और वे घायल होते हैं. मुझे ये नहीं समझ आता की इन सिपाहियों को मेरे लिए और मेरे इस राज्य के लिए पत्थर क्यों खाना पड़ता है और वो भी उन लोगों से जो की चाहते हैं की मेरा राज्य भी उनके देश की तरह बर्बाद और अंधरे मे चला जाये. मै नहीं चाहता की मेरे भाई जो की मेरे देश भारत के विभिन्न भागों मे रहते हैं की तरह स्वाभिमानी बनू और उनकी तरह सर उठा के चलू मुझे शायद ये पसंद नहीं है क्योंकि मैंने कभी अपने लिए ऐसा नहीं सोचा आज अगर मै इस राज्य का मुख्यमंत्री बना हूँ तो इसमे मेरी कोई योग्यता नहीं है ये तो मुझे विरासत मे मिली है.

मै कहाँ जा रहा हूँ और क्या कर रहा हूँ ये समझाना मेरे लिए शायद बहुत ज़रूरी नहीं है

One Nation One Constitution

Dear Friends,

As we are entering in our 62^nd Year of adopting the Constitution, I have a question to ask are we still united and democratic? I have a doubt. Kashmir being an Integral part of India which our constitution also says but the Separatist doesn’t want to be called themselves as an Indian, reason being they have been funded by the enemies and above all had also got good support from our Union Government so that they can keep situation volatile. That’s a plan which our Central Government wants to keep alive for diverting the minds of the countrymen from the core and important issues like inflation and corruption.

Anyway that’s one of the thing right now “Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha” is organizing a “Rashtriye Ekta Yatra” which has the message of “One Country one Constitutions one Nation” and this Yatra will start from Kolkatta on 12^th of January 2011 and reach Srinagar on 26^th of January 2011. covering the distance of almost 3100 kms approx. The aim of this Yatra is to spread the awareness about the situation of Kashmir and its people to the nations and its youth and requesting them to contribute their valuable thoughts about One Nation philosophy.

The Goal of this Yatra is to hoist the Trio Colour at the Historical Lal Chowk on the 26^th January to convey the message to the deaf that it’s(Kashmir) a integral part of India you can’t divide us.
