Silver Lining

During the independence struggle we saw the Dream of Independent and prosperous India. But did we really achieve that when we see ourselves after 65 years of Independence we find we are standing no where. That is the problem we haven’t achieved what we have dreamt of.

In 1947 our population was 300 millions now we are 1.21 billions and counting; where we are heading towards? Do we really have the target for prosperous India? If we say we do have then are we actually following that path and have a deadline set for that goal? People here often say’s that system is corrupt nothing will go right in this country without bribing the authority or politicians. Everyone is fed up with the present situation but still no body is raising voice against it, and best part is everyone is waiting for other to do that for him/her and those who are raising the concern either are government funded/planted organization or individual or others who are genuine have no support of the normal people because nobody bothers to support them and if they have a little support then they are crushed by the authority on the orders of the democratically elected government. Who do such heinous act in the name of peace to be maintained by the nation?

The definition of democracy in our constitution is “for the people and by the people”. And the worst part is that we never ever implemented this prologue since we got our independence and constitution.

Why we have not implemented what we have thought for Independent India. We see people living on the streets and doing pity things to earn their livelihood, which could have avoided if we have planned things right from the beginning. But neither the government thought and nor they bothered to give a real development to the country.

Especially when we say Serving India is serving millions who have no access to the proper meal daily, no education and no equality in opportunity to live comfortably.  And our Father of the Nation wished “to wipe tears from every eyes of the citizen of this country.” that should be remembered.

Government has to understand the concern of the commoners. And it will come only if we work towards the betterment of it. We have to understand the simple logic that the river also flows from mountains towards the plains and further falls into the sea. System has to be cleaned from top authority then only it will go to the lower level. May be it looks difficult right now but one has to start from somewhere so why not from this moment.

Almost everyday newspapers are covered with Government’s corruption, failures or not doing the things in a proper manner through which a citizen could get a benefit but still nothing has been done from the government side to rectify the situation instead things are becoming worse day by day. It will erupt one day and then the time will already be slipped from our hand and we’ll remain as mere spectators.

Guru Dutt’s Film Pyaasa song “Jinhay Naaz hai Hind pe wo Kahan hai” is very apt at this juncture. Hope we’ll see some changes in Politicians and Commoners who have proud to being an Indian

The Dictators Of The Democracy

Corruption’ is the word which has become synonym to the present parliamentary system. But the problem is none of the party wants to accept their responsibilities towards the voter of this country.  If a Yoga Guru or a civil society members call MPs Corrupt, murderers, dacoits than the whole Parliament erupts and shows their discomfort towards the statement unanimously, which is a good sign of unity amongst the parliamentarians, but where this unity goes when farmers commit suicides in vidharbha?  or Terrorist like Kasab and Afjal guru still alive when we all know and its been proven by the Court what sin they have done.

Technically MPs and others sects of society should not have conflicts amongst themselves as it’s a relationship like body and its part. But in present scenario the situation has become very sad, anyone who has ambition is commenting on politicians he/she feels like. We are not the supporter of that guy who slapped Sharad Pawar we totally condemn this act, but our question is why such situations occurring? Who is responsible? Especially when we know our Parliament represents constitutionally the thinking of people of this country and Parliament is also a Mirror and voice of the Nation. Question is when people like Ram Dev or Anna Hazare talk about corruption then definitely they will blame someone for this, so what if they say it’s the parliamentarians who are responsible for it. In a situation like this, MPs should speak to these leaders of the civil society directly and ask them what is their problem? And why can’t you guys allow us to work towards the cure of it? Especially when our constitution says that it’s the duty of the Parliament to render their services towards the common people of this country according to his choice and ambition.

Parliament is being represented by its MPs and their duty is to put forward the demand and questions of the people who have elected MPs to represent them in the Parliament. And if civil society members raise their voice against the MPs and parliamentary system than MPs should bow to the demands of the public and try to rectify the problem instead of condemning civilians. After all this is the only right which common men have in the system of democracy“freedom of speech”.

Corruption was then also when we’ve got our independence in Nehru, Indira regime and one of the prime reasons of JP movement in the mid 70s was corruption only. Present situation is more or less the same. The only difference is time; in 70s the medium of spreading awareness was very less in comparison to present time. And also people in urban society have become more aware because many mediums of information dissemination have come up now. Amongst all the medium Internet has become strongest medium. And that is one of the reasons why MPs on the UPA side wants to curtail the power of social media. Very recent example was Abhshek Manu Singhvi’s incident, no news channels or Newspapers have covered this incident as media was managed well by the culprit side. But still many people have seen that CD on the social site

Baba Ramdev’s comment on Parliament and its members could not be supported but kindly understand the situation of common man  inflation and corruption has killed the moral values of the society, now common man has started thinking only about Me, Myself and I. if you(MPs) really want population or masses to behave properly then you are the only one who have to take initiative, otherwise more and more commoners will come up and perform activities which are neither good for themselves, society or for the Country and its Parliamentary system. The new dawn has arrived kindly get up everybody otherwise it will be too late.

Parliament is the most auspicious place in the democratic structure of a country, one has to respect it, if we believe in Democratic system but that applies for both parties.

101 Centuries of Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar will start his new innings as an MP in Rajya Sabha. What kind of records we are expecting him to break. No idea as parliament is a place where already we have many biggies who play better than Sachin in Politics.

From 1952 till date we have seen 118 celebrities who have been nominated by the president of India in the Rajya Sabha so that they can represent and get the first hand experience of how to run a country. Prithivi Raj Kapoor was the first Celebrity who has been nominated in 1952 by the then President Dr. Rajinder Prasad ji. Celebrities are the one who are being nominated by the President on the recommendation by the Prime Minister to the upper house of the Parliament for their distinguish work in their respective fields and they are above the Party politics. When I heard Sachin being nominated to Rajya Sabha I thought another honour has been given to Sachin before he gets the Bharat Ratana. We all knew on whose recommendation he has been given a birth in Rajya Sabha but that doesn’t mean he has to go and meet Sonia Gandhi first instead he should go and meet President of India first. According to the constitution President has nominate him to the upper House of the Parliament for his distinguish work in the field of cricket and he should meet the President of the country first and not the President of a political party may be he is thinking I am meeting the President only. So what if she belongs to Congress Party after all by her grace only he has reached Parliament and Madam is the one who is running this country so my duty is to meet her and bow down to her first.

As Sachin met Sonia Gandhi Internet users have started using social medium against Tendulkar, and best part is the pattern is exactly the same through which they use to insult other Politicians or other socially active Persons. I think Sachin should take all this as a positive sign as if he has made century on his debut match and people are congratulating him exactly the way they have congratulated Sonia ji, Rahul ji and Manmohan ji. And the latest entry would be Bangaru Laxman.

We all know that Congress Party is not very strong in Rajya Sabha and they have to do every possible “Aasana” to make sure The Bill which has been laid on the table of the house should get pass easily, but they fail most of the time. Now Tendulkar, Rekha and Anu Agaa in Rajya Sabha they’ll feel relived that they are 3 more votes stronger in the house of 237 members.

The Big Question arises how the people of this country should react who are not the supporter of Congress party. They should start hating Sachin or they should support him exactly the way as they use to support him in the field, but seeing the banners and the post on Twitter, Facebook and other social medium it doesn’t look the same.

Educated and a bit aware people of this country have actually started hating Congress and its allies after seeing so many scams and the inflation rate which is increasing day by day. This is the high time to understand the mood of the voters of this country except for central government employees every one in the country want that UPA government should go.

But the Question is when will they (UPA Government) go?
