“Vikas”
- is dead in its true sense in the country called India – Who was “Vikas”?
Vikas was the one who walked back home 1000 kms in lockdown because there was
no food, no money, no job and no shelter at his work place “Vikas” was also the
one who hanged himself because he could not able to repay the loan what he took
against his farm land in Maharashtra or in many parts of India. He was also a “Vikas”
who casted his vote in the name of “everyone’s companionship and progress” he
died too. Those were also “Vikas”, who slept forever on railroad on their way
back home at the time of lockdown. “Vikas” died of hunger at his village
waiting for 5kgs of grains.
The
story of “Vikas” has not ended as yet, now a new “Vikas” will be born or maybe he
is a toddler somewhere by now. “Vikas to Hoga” – Who is “Vikas” now? Probably, that
will be decided by the national political party or regional political party of
our country soon. We as an individual have a tendency to forgetting things faster
and this is a drawback for India as country but an advantage for a political
setup in the country. “Vikas” will be a model of projecting India becoming
self-reliant. And we as a citizen of this country will again come in the
delusion of some political party.
Every
time we do the same mistake and we did not want to learn from our mistakes as
well, because we are so occupied in our day to day life that we hardly wants to
think beyond our kitchen these days and when things will be little better our
thinking will take a plunge in few other materialistic pleasures of life which
we can afford at that point of time which will be post Corona time. This Corona
has put a break on our thinking and economy, because of which our purchasing
power has weaken otherwise we would have enjoying the party at this time as
well.
When
you think about people rich people like Tata’s, Mahindra’s or Reliance nationally
and internationally P&G’s, Hindustan Liver etc. you will come to know, they
all have long term goals to achieve from a business project in which they
invest. They spend lot of money on studying the human behavior, preferences and
choices for a particular product. I give you an example of sanitary pad from
P&G – the company goes to an extend to change the color of the packing
according to the target audience’s age. Purposes like these i.e. R&D of
human behavior they sponsor researchers to do their Ph. d on human psychology
in big universities of the world. That means the money is been spent on earning
more money. It’s mental; imagine how deep they want to penetrate it’s a
different ball game all together and because of this advance planning they are successful.
And also don’t have any competitor in their respective markets.
Now
our political parties especially who thinks they are in a business (although
every political party is in a business these days) have started working on
these line as well. And the time will come when they’ll be having no opposition/competition
whatsoever. And everything will be done in the democratic system of the country
without any objections. Mark my words we
have started moving towards a system in our country where what so ever has been
told to us by the ruling party we’ll accept it as it is, and also appreciate
their decisions later on. How much time and money is being spent to achieve
their respective goals one can’t even imagine.
Solutions: - raise your question even if you
like it. Do ask why? You have to make them accountable. How? It depends on case
to case basis. Executives and Legislature are going hand in hands these days –
this will only change when we’ll ask question. Out of three pillars of
democracy – two have become very weak they are Judiciary and the Executives. Although,
directly we can’t do anything but those who are in there have to act swiftly,
otherwise it will be too late for the country.
2
– We have seen the two types of government in last 30 years – a coalition government
and an absolute majority government. Although for the countries benefit it is
always recommended the absolute majority Party should rule the country but it
has to be a party who should rule but not an individual in the party it is very
harmful for the country. My understanding with present system says - we should fly
against the wind in democracy. According to the time and need we should also change
and put the country first in our priority. I always say if the country stays we
will stay. At present it seems coalition could have been a better option
because it will be having many power centers and with that at least democracy would
have flourished.
“Vikas”
should have taken place in the country but it has got stuck in made up chaotic system
of political parties in our country. That is it about “Vikas” and I myself is
looking for “Vikas”. Welcome to the 21st Century India.
