#GoBackModi

Vikas तो डुबे
“Vikas”
- is dead in its true sense in the country called India – Who was “Vikas”?
Vikas was the one who walked back home 1000 kms in lockdown because there was
no food, no money, no job and no shelter at his work place “Vikas” was also the
one who hanged himself because he could not able to repay the loan what he took
against his farm land in Maharashtra or in many parts of India. He was also a “Vikas”
who casted his vote in the name of “everyone’s companionship and progress” he
died too. Those were also “Vikas”, who slept forever on railroad on their way
back home at the time of lockdown. “Vikas” died of hunger at his village
waiting for 5kgs of grains.
The
story of “Vikas” has not ended as yet, now a new “Vikas” will be born or maybe he
is a toddler somewhere by now. “Vikas to Hoga” – Who is “Vikas” now? Probably, that
will be decided by the national political party or regional political party of
our country soon. We as an individual have a tendency to forgetting things faster
and this is a drawback for India as country but an advantage for a political
setup in the country. “Vikas” will be a model of projecting India becoming
self-reliant. And we as a citizen of this country will again come in the
delusion of some political party.
Every
time we do the same mistake and we did not want to learn from our mistakes as
well, because we are so occupied in our day to day life that we hardly wants to
think beyond our kitchen these days and when things will be little better our
thinking will take a plunge in few other materialistic pleasures of life which
we can afford at that point of time which will be post Corona time. This Corona
has put a break on our thinking and economy, because of which our purchasing
power has weaken otherwise we would have enjoying the party at this time as
well.
When
you think about people rich people like Tata’s, Mahindra’s or Reliance nationally
and internationally P&G’s, Hindustan Liver etc. you will come to know, they
all have long term goals to achieve from a business project in which they
invest. They spend lot of money on studying the human behavior, preferences and
choices for a particular product. I give you an example of sanitary pad from
P&G – the company goes to an extend to change the color of the packing
according to the target audience’s age. Purposes like these i.e. R&D of
human behavior they sponsor researchers to do their Ph. d on human psychology
in big universities of the world. That means the money is been spent on earning
more money. It’s mental; imagine how deep they want to penetrate it’s a
different ball game all together and because of this advance planning they are successful.
And also don’t have any competitor in their respective markets.
Now
our political parties especially who thinks they are in a business (although
every political party is in a business these days) have started working on
these line as well. And the time will come when they’ll be having no opposition/competition
whatsoever. And everything will be done in the democratic system of the country
without any objections. Mark my words we
have started moving towards a system in our country where what so ever has been
told to us by the ruling party we’ll accept it as it is, and also appreciate
their decisions later on. How much time and money is being spent to achieve
their respective goals one can’t even imagine.
Solutions: - raise your question even if you
like it. Do ask why? You have to make them accountable. How? It depends on case
to case basis. Executives and Legislature are going hand in hands these days –
this will only change when we’ll ask question. Out of three pillars of
democracy – two have become very weak they are Judiciary and the Executives. Although,
directly we can’t do anything but those who are in there have to act swiftly,
otherwise it will be too late for the country.
2
– We have seen the two types of government in last 30 years – a coalition government
and an absolute majority government. Although for the countries benefit it is
always recommended the absolute majority Party should rule the country but it
has to be a party who should rule but not an individual in the party it is very
harmful for the country. My understanding with present system says - we should fly
against the wind in democracy. According to the time and need we should also change
and put the country first in our priority. I always say if the country stays we
will stay. At present it seems coalition could have been a better option
because it will be having many power centers and with that at least democracy would
have flourished.
“Vikas”
should have taken place in the country but it has got stuck in made up chaotic system
of political parties in our country. That is it about “Vikas” and I myself is
looking for “Vikas”. Welcome to the 21st Century India.

Desperate Economy
Criticizing the government
is one of the easiest jobs to perform in our country. But the question is why
the people of our country criticizing the government? Everyone whosoever
criticizes the government has his/her logic behind it. Those logic's at times are
interesting and based on facts as well. Another point is why the person who is
criticizing the policies or the decision of the government with documented
proof but still could not able to get the publicity what is been needed to
spread the words amongst the subjects? Reasons could be umpteen - but one of the
important measure is the control over process which leads to the spreading of
information, which is there in the hands of the government and they critically
analyses every information whether it is benefiting them or will criticize
their decisions.
Although, in India we have
democracy because of which we still have an access to many sources through
which we get what we want(mostly). Of course in a democratic system things are
little different then communism but if you see both the system practically still
lot of similarities are there. You can ask how? See, one of the basic differences
in our country and a communist country’s set up is - here we can always raise our
voice, if we see some wrong doing by the government openly. But, we still can’t
stop them from doing what they want to do. Let say if we question one of the
latest decisions of the government of India of partially privatizing the Indian
railways. I am saying partially because they have chosen few routes and no of
trains to be run on those routes by private players. Why do you want to
introduce private player in the PSUs? When it is generating profit for you. And
also an important and popular mode of mass travel in India.
Many factors are responsible
for this decision of the government. In the last budget of the government of
India our Finance minister has introduced the idea of 5 Trillion Rupees economy
and the target to achieve this objective by 2024. Now at present the emphasis
is on developed economy of India which s a good idea. World has changed rapidly
in last 30 years and every country should gain benefit out of this economic
development because of open market policy, but on the other hand in last 73
years of our independence, we could not able to efface the poverty from the
face of India. Still our Prime minister
has to come on TV and has to make an announcement of providing 5kg of food
grains to 800 million poor people of this country till November 2020 because
the pandemic has taken its toll out of common people. Of course economy of
India is in a bad shape right now. Although, the world economy is in a bad
shape Yes, “desperate time needs desperate measures” but at present selling
PSUs can’t be the desperate measure. Why aren’t we taking the help of our Noble
laureate who are providing their valuable services to the western world when we
know the study of theirs on which they have won the awards mostly has been done
on poor India and measures to eradicate it.
When you read a government
decision on something in a documented form – you will get stuck in the language
- it will take multiple reading to understand what it really meant. It was
always like this because in a democratic system we all have the right to
challenge any decision (except national security) by the government. Any
government wants to play safe and also don’t want any hurdles in their
decisions to be challenged by anyone.
Solution
:-
we have many - what we have to do firstly work upon implementation of the decision
made by the government at the grass roots level by having an independent body
which will be working on the lines of RTI there job is to make sure the
implementation is taking place honestly or they should take corrective measures
if the things are not right. What would be the benefit of it – it will help
eradicate poverty step by step from the society and also remove corruption from
the system.
2 - The government should
take the help of people who are real expert in the field. It depends on case to
case basis. The bureaucratic system is the requirement of smooth functioning of
the government in any country, but the civil servants cannot be an expert so
their opinion does matter on policies. But it should never be the last
opinion. En numbers of examples are
there in which some beautiful policies have failed because of the bureaucratic complication
in implementation. The federal system of
our country is as such that has provided everyone to flourish equally the only
difference is “right people at right place at the right time” makes more of a
difference but it doesn’t mean that power has to avoid the experts.
3 - Politician has to become
the rider not the rides in the hands of Civil servants. Politicians have to
understand that - they have got the verdict of the people to rule on them and
they are answerable to the public of this country only. Selflessness is the key
for development of any country and our past has hundreds of examples like that.
If we have to learn from the past for the betterment of the society we should
never hesitate.

Solution
I
often in my write-ups only write about the problems and I know most of us do know
the problems and we are looking for solutions! But, firstly the idea of mine is
always to identify the problem and go into the cause. Once we know the cause we
can start working upon the solutions. There are straight ways which will lead us
to the solutions of any problem, but we are afraid of taking that path, because
we’ve created the problem and now we are afraid of the society or colleagues or
may be family members what they will think if they come to know that I have
created the problem.
Most
of the times after committing mistakes we think no one will come to know and
we’ll move out of it without someone noticing it. That’s where we make another
mistake. It is exactly like I have a secret which I am telling to everyone who is
my friend, family member or someone close to me and after narrating the secret
I will conclude with this sentence “remember
this is between me and you only”. And believe me what we think most of the
time about our secret as a big secret turn out to be a general issue which
occurs with most of us. There are still some secrets which considered being a real
secret - 99% we never disclose it to anyone. And these types of secrets are
there with everyone lives on this planet none of us being spared from it.
Now
exactly the same concept we can apply to the issues related to bigger problem
of the society and here I am talking about matters which are related to the
nation and the countrymen One of the examples from the present time we can give
is this pandemic C-19, every government is hiding the real data or probably
they don’t have the real time data. This practice is being applied world over
and the history tells us it is always like this since ancient time. The reason
for this is given initially that if we release or tell the real data to the
subjects, they will get scared and there is a possibility of civil unrest. Here
I would say just refer to the past whenever someone have revealed the truth to their
subjects - people have always revolted against him, his regime or the system.
Everyone knows the truth it is only they don’t react until they realize the intensity
of the threat on their lives and the lives of their loved once.
It
is all about taking people into your confidence and that confidence will come
when you will trust the person’s ability and give an opportunity to prove
him/herself. Every individual suffers with one syndrome called self-obsession
you might disagree with me but even the so called Holy saints were also
suffered from this syndrome. The recent example would be of Osho Rajneesh he
declared himself a “Bhagwan” but when
a controversy occurred on his commune in US he blamed “Sheela” for everything.
I don’t want to go in details about happenings in his commune which made US
government fumed so badly, that they put him and Sheela behind bars for many
years. Here my point is even the so called great human beings also suffer from
this self-obsessed syndrome and that proves they are not enlightened at all. Everyone
makes mistakes and it is more about accepting the fault instead of hiding it
from the others because hiding is not the solution. Great people in the past
have made blunders but they were brave enough to admit their faults.
This
is what has been taught to us in “Vedas,
Puranas, Upnishads” etc. don’t become
obsessed of yourself, you are not immortal accept your mistakes and work
towards rectification of it, you will achieve the “Moksha” or liberation. I now all this probably will not make much
of sense to masses because we only like the stories being told to us by someone
about someone else and they have achieved that salvation by that, but when we
have to apply this on ourselves we’ll be saying let me finish my present goal
of becoming something and then I will follow this path. And by that time there
are only two possibilities left with you either that time never comes or it is
too late.
If
you are really a wise man believe me things around you will always be intoxicated

Who is a Nationalist?
Why is the country always in
my mind? Especially when as an individual I am not doing great? Probably, I am
a selfish man thinking only about the uncertainty around me and also floating
in the country at present and this makes me think how will I survive and take
care of my family in future? Of course the situation around us at present is adverse
not favorable at all, and yes the authorities are also not at all active in
assuring the country about the things is in their controls? I know I am asking
too much from my government and this is not the right attitude but, what do I
do? When I know I have lost my job – the job which I was loving and supporting
my family and also presenting the country in a manner that makes me proud of my
country. But suddenly everything got vanished and I find myself and my country
in the middle of nowhere.
The entire country is
impatient right now and everyone has taken the responsibilities on their
shoulders because we very well know that government is not going to do anything
except blabbering. This is very unfortunate and disgusting on the government
part. I know you are not in a position to support the entire country but at
least help the needy. Who is lying in a hospital suffering from Covid or the one
who is walking on the highways? See if you can’t help the sufferer than do not
stay in power. I think the government has to set its priorities.
Till recently we were
hearing that Image of India has improved world over because of our PM’s diplomatic
policies. If that’s the case than - why China and Nepal are disturbing us? You
can’t say openly to avoid Chinese product which is understandable but kindly
arrange the opportunity or an alternate to the people of this country to
support you, by not buying or using the product of Chinese origin. This is the
right time to develop this idea of “Atamnirbhar Bharat” with
honesty. Understand one thing this country is not only run by the business
houses the common man also has a contribution and their contribution is far bigger
than the contributions of the business houses for sure. /
Do reforms in Bureaucratic
setup in the country. Do not try to make the constitutional setup weak in the
country. Transparency will only be there when the government will be honest.
And honesty can’t be seen through words rather it will appear automatically in
the deeds what you do for the people of your country. I might sound another
idiot to you but believe me who so ever will be having a love and dedication for
his country he will rise against you and certainly you don’t want this to
happen against your regime so you are crushing the voices. If someone brave enough
raise his voice against you that does not mean he is an anti-national and you
have to book him under anti-national law. We are 1.3 billion voices let’s see
how many you crush.
Even supreme almighty has
assigned subordinates Gods to look after the matters related to humanity and all
of them has power and followers accordingly but in your regime you do have many
minsters but power lies in one man and the commoners do not even know in case
of emergency whom should they go to? Your GoM are more into glorifying you
rather serving the country and its people. I know they all won under your
leadership but this victory is not permanent as Gita verse is “there were someone before you and
there will be someone after you, so don’t worry and rest all your worries in me
because I am the ultimate truth”.

Fake Information Report
Why
do you think the present government doesn’t want to tolerate the opposition gracefully?
The opposition could be anyone just not only the political parties. And because
of which we are seeing those Fake FIR cases being registering against anyone who
is raising his or her voice against the system and the government. And just
imagine these cases are mostly happening in the states run by BJP. It is quite sad
to see the situation around us. Just watch this report on COVID-19 situation in
India on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmaGPHN7qGs
and you will understand what actually is happening around us. Now this News
Clip is of BBC so government can’t say it is sponsored and situation is not
like this how it’s been shown here. But still the question is why the present
government not admitting their mistakes daintily. Probably one of the reason
what I understood is this that arrogance has taken over the empathy and this is
not good for democracy.
Till
the time of UPA regime even the smallest of the misdoing use to be highlighted
never people have been manhandled by the government if the use to raise their
voices against the government. Media was relatively a bit more free then now.
Have you ever thought why? In my understanding I can say at that point of time
the government being run by the group of parties and everyone supporting party
use to have his say in the government and the PM Mr. Manmohan Singh ji was also
a teacher more than a PM. I would say that was a better time for the democracy
then what we are seeing at present. At that point of time it was the group of
ministers who use to rule the country and because of which we have seen so many
“Scams”. Because at that point of time everyone wanted to share the chocolate
pie and they use to have a little bit of modesty (probably I am wrong, but this
is what I presuming). As we have seen many Scams like CWG, 2G, Coal Gate so on
and so forth.
Now
that modesty is missing from the present government, as well as the GoM. I am
sure if Shyama Parasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhya ji watching all this
from heaven, they must be regretting their decision of forming Jan Sangh. I
still remember my presence at BJP headquarters on 16th May 2014 when
the election results were announced and BJP came into power. Everyone was so
happy there, in fact majority of the country was happy. I still remember Ravish Kumar Came to BJP headquarters and he has been physically trolled by the BJP supporter in side
of 11 Ashoka Road. And we all thought at last the change has come for which we all
have dreamt once. Unfortunately now I can always say time changes so do the
ideology and this is very sad for democracy and the country.
I
still would say lot of people are still there in BJP who lived throughout for
the country and once Govindacharya ji told me Advani ji is better candidate for
the supreme post in BJP’s Government. I know as I said Time changes so did the
ideology and the people who use to walk behind the change have blocked the path
of development. But I am not worried I know because I believe in it soon the time
will come when things will take another turn and probably this time we’ll come
back on the path on which probably Gandhi ji or Lal Bahadur wanted to walk
upon.

Rajya Sabha Elections 2020
Here comes the election again –
this time it is for the upper house of the parliament. You might hear very soon
that this election is not valid because the Central Vista project is not yet
started – you might be thinking what does Central vista project has to do with
Rajya Sabha’s election, then I will say exactly the same connection when we did
the announcement of Demonetization and the Lockdown in the country where we did
not thought about the consequences will be faced by the innocent countrymen. Our
beloved orator appeared on the Television and gave a sermon in which he
preached people of this country with his words of wisdom.
Most of us are aware what is
going on in the state of Rajasthan and Gujrat in connection with the Rajya
Sabha’s poll as of now – horse trading has started and the opposition and
ruling party of both the states are running around with their MLAs so that they
achieve the desire results. Unfortunately again it is a Congress Party who is
doing this again. As far as moral code of conduct is concern this kind of dirty
practices should not adopted by any political party anywhere in the country. But
???????
What is the code of conduct to
elect an MP for Rajya Sabha. The elected members of Rajya Sabha are chosen
through the system of “proportional representation by means of single transferable
vote” through the open ballot. The open ballot was introduced to replace the secret
ballot, by amending the Representation of People Act. 1951 and the Conduct of
Electoral Rules 1961. Open Ballot system means that every elector belonging to
a political party ha to show his marked ballot paper to the authorized representative
of his political before inserting into ballot box. Open ballot system was introduced
to avoid horse trading or cross voting. The minimum number of vote required to
get elected is = total number of MLAs in the state +1 / Vacancy + 1
Now it is technically impossible
to do a cross voting so the new idea has been developed by the powerful
political party to buy the MLA and MLA will give his/her resignation from the
Legislature and you will achieve your desired result. This is a clear case of
bypassing the people’s mandate? When you are in the power you manipulate the
laws according to your vims and fancies but just imagine what reputation those
public representatives are gaining. I know who cares….. By god’s grace we have
won the election and luckily got an opportunity to make some extra money why
not to go for it. I think this would have been the mindset of those MLAs who
have resigned from Madhya Pradesh Assembly in March this year and probably they
must be thinking of another opportunity to get reelected this time on ruling
party’s ticket. In the recent past when we were under the lockdown PM urged the
public to donate in his new PM care a/c and people did donated with open heart because
it was to strengthen the hands of the government so that they can fight against
the present pandemic. There is another conspiracy theory which is going on that
is why we or the government needed a new a/c when it already has an PM relief
fund. Probably the original relief fund a/c has an accountability and because
of which you can’t achieve your desired ambition fulfilled and that could be
the reason of the present government to open up a new account and god knows
what is been done with that money which has been donated by the countrymen.
The time is coming for the permanent
solution to stop this kind of felonious practice from the face of Indian
democracy but for this - people of the country have to rise in the form of
ballot. Do remember if you will not rise now you’ll never be able to stand up
again. A lot has to do if we really want to live in a democratic country in
true sense. Power corrupts and it certainly has corrupted the present ruling
party of our country. Stop making fool of us you never know when the time will
slip out of your hands but I know by that time probably they will do an irreparable
damage to this country – we still have time we have to wake up again and have
to teach the lesson to the so called torch bearers of democracy.

Logical Fallacies
Embracing the absolute power
cannot be the motive - rather how to transact the nation so that power will
achieve its ultimate goal of serving the last person standing and this can
certainly makes the difference. And we can say the goal of the
government has been achieved. Political party should know this fact that it is
not that political party who makes the king it is always the public is the king
maker. Ever since we have achieved our Independence and from Nehru’s
government to Modi’s government we are still struggling in achieving the goal
of “Selfless
Service”.
Reference from the present
pandemic could be - the deaths of Migrant laborers on the Highways of the
country. If we have really achieved the goal for which the democracy has been
adopted by India things would have been different today. Unfortunately, till
now all the ruling parties in this country have adopted the theory of logical fallacies. Because of this a huge cost has been paid by
the country. For any political party
through all these years of independent India – country has not developed to its
full potential. Where the countries like
Japan or Germany became super power in this period and do remember we all have
started at the same time! They didn’t become economic super power by having
nuclear bomb in their Armory, It is not a comparison it is more of a fact check.
Since our Independence few unfortunate
decisions took by the ruling parties which have certainly changed India forever
e.g. Emergency of 1975, Operation Blue
Star, Mandal Commission, Liberalization, Demolition of Babri Masjid, and
many communal riots. None of these
ever proven an instrumental change in the society for positivity rather had
always created much bigger crater amongst the society. Many elections were
fought on the basis of these illogical
fallacies that country is doing well and many people did vote for it as
well. These blunders have had the negative impact on the country’s mindset.
Often it is been said the
present government does not know how to rule the country and it is sabotaging
the principles which is being setup by the constitution builders for the united
and secular nation. An example since Independence till 1994 there were around
50 communal riots took place in our country and many casualties had happened unfortunately
we don’t know the exact numbers of the lives we have lost. And from 1997 till
now around 14 more big riots took place in the country. Honestly speaking - what
have we gained out of these riots? Which took place in different times and
different parts of the country? But when you ask the leaders did we achieve
something out of it? They will never be able to answer it honestly. Logic is “to be in the power does not matter how it
comes to you”.
Did we achieve anything out
of 1991 liberalization? Those who remembered the decision at that time must be
remembering the predictions for the 21st century India which has been
given by than government. The point was India will be economic super power in
coming years and we will eradicate poverty. Again I will ask did we really able
to achieve even the first goal of Liberalization? Did we eradicate the poverty?
Answer we all know unfortunately farmer still have to commit suicide because he
does not have money to repay his loan. But of course Tata’s, Adani’s, Reliance,
Mahindra’s and many more like them have become global. Even Google CEO is an
Indian. Becoming a CEO of Google has a motivational value but it does not give
any economic benefit to a common man of this country.
Another Fallacies –
“Demonetization”: The only positive impact of
demonetization (and that too temporarily) was that the banks became
flushed with cash and a lot of people came into the mainstream banking system. And
the Negative is – It is more than Three years now and 66 per cent of respondents
in an online survey have said that demonetization had
negative impact on economy and labour employment. And
if you remember the 2019 election campaign where 100s of crore money been
seized by police in deferent part of the country and mostly were high
denomination notes, of course they were all black money.
At present the entire
country is suffering because of COVID-19 pandemic instead of combatting with it
we are still busy juggling with the data of government aids or stimulus package
to fight against it. At present country needs a black & white television but
we have been provided with a colour television because in the form of stimulus
package if someone says we are in one of the biggest economic crisis where more
than 80% people have lost their jobs is all false. The need of the hour is instant
practical aid to the country. One of the
sayings of Veda’s - “If a person deviates from his path he deviate individually
but if a king deviates the entire nation deviates”.

Status Quo
Few years ago I was the media
advisor to one of the non-political outfit and there I use to have conversations
with the head of our organization he was instrumental in the 70s JP movement a
renowned reformer and the backbone of the current ruling party of our country for long
time. Once I asked him about our country - government and its governance and
the role of a political party in the development of the country and also the
role of Bureaucracy and bureaucrats in the smooth running of the country? He gave
statement and said Bureaucrats are horses and the Politician are the Jockeys –
and how the horse will perform this all depend upon the ability of the ability
of the Jockey. Now just think how our country is performing at present?
Every one of us knows in our
country what kind of lifestyle is being led by our ministers; bureaucratese and
high officials in comparison to the first world country counterparts of theirs.
‘They are leading the life of kings”. And on the other side when we see the
Global Hunger Index ranking of our country in the world India stands 102
amongst 117 countries according to IFPRI 2019 October ranking. This ranking
proves so right when we see the plight of our migrant laborers they all are walking
back home without food and money. This pandemic has unleashed every political
party in our country. One is struggling to take country out of it and others
are in cashing the opportunity at this pandemic time.
At present so many deaths
are happening around us, I know the vast and populous country like ours we do
have people die of many reasons. But at present the situation is different and
the death like this is not acceptable. If
you remember a movie called “Baby” in that movie the lead actor Akshay Kumar slaps
a personal secretary of a minster because the statement what personal secretary
gave regarding the soldier’s death in which he said “don’t talk about the deaths
of the soldiers they will die because that’s their job”. It’s a very appropriate
example for the present situation which display’s the exact mindset of the system
which is in place today. It seems no one cares our job is to announce packages
to take country out of economic crisis and things will be fine afterwards.
The common people especially
the poor and lower middle class of the society which consist of almost around 99%
of the total population of the country believes – their stature has not changed
since independence - does not matter which party has ruled the country and
unfortunately they believe it will never change as well. It is so unfortunate
for any country where the population starts losing the trust in the system. Who
is responsible for this? Of course the jockey is responsible he never knew
which way the horse has to move and at what speed. Of course we are doing well
as far as pandemic COVID-19 and its spread in the society is concern according
to the govt. statistics. Here I would say there are very few countries in the
world that are providing the real data. And of course it has to be a concern
for the mankind but at present you really can’t do anything. It seems whatever is
going around us at present is all about numbers. If you are a TV channel you
need TRP if you are a government you need the data to show comparisons and
development plans. Unfortunately none of the stake holders are opposing it
openly. Probably it is all about you scratch my back I scratch yours.
Has anyone ever thought what
is the ranking of India amongst the world countries in terms of World Press
Freedom Index - according to 2019 ranking India stands at 142 rank three steps ahead
of Pakistan and 30 steps below Nepal, Just imagine world’s second largest populous
country and Press does not have freedom what the first world countries Press is
enjoying infect I have talked about this in my previous post in detail under
the heading “Journalists and their Journalism”. Our Jockeys does not know how
to ride the horse or maybe they are hand in hands with their horse again If you
are an optimistic you can always say we are better than many country in this sub-continent.
As far as marketing of the
development of the country as a product is concern it is going quit well but there
is a defect in the production line – kindly rectify it as soon as possible otherwise
marketing can’t hold the product for very long, do remember if the product has
a defect doesn’t matter how good your marketing is – it will fall eventually. Let
every machine perform their work accordingly single machine cannot perform the work
of the others for very long.

Journalists and their Journalism
Who am I? I am a present day
Journalist with negotiation skill. Why I require a negotiation skill when I am
a journalist? I require this skill to become a liaison. Why I want to become a Liaison?
I want to become a liaison to exploit my position for my personal benefits but
I am a journalist and my job is to cover and present the news for my audience! Though
the present situation is - Journalism is divided into two sects: One who is
with the government and other is against the government. The one who is with
the power has forgotten their as well as the anti-government ones. What a pro
government. journalist thinks? Pro journalists – represent government
indirectly and always stand with the government decisions. And the anti-government
journalist didn’t want to see any positives in the government decisions and
mostly he represent the opposition political party and run those parties political
agendas in public. Where we in India have adopted Democratic way of governance and
in that - Journalism is defined as one of the important Pillar of
Democracy.
In Democracy it is never
wrong to criticize your government - especially when you are a journalist and performing
your duty honestly of course the power will not going to like you but that does
not mean you should not criticize the government. This is what your job is. And
do not only criticize the government do appreciate when you see things are going
in the right direction. But if I ask - at present are we as a journalist’s performing
our duty honestly? And the honest answer to the question will be a definite no.
Why we see the news on TV? We see the news channels to know what is happening
around us. And at present we have so many private news channels who overload us
with the information’s which are very biased and provoking towards something
irrelevant. Country is run by the government and they have to take care of many
possibilities and in this an important part is played by the journalists for
smooth running of the system with their informatics reporting. And there are
very few journalists who dared to expose the government and because of their daringness
they all are suffering right now and we should not hesitate to appreciate their
work. Of course it has to be with proofs and of course investigating journalism
has saved the country many times in the past.
.
The sad period of Journalism
is going on at present. And the journalists in many ways have gone to their
all-time low. Here I would not say that government is not responsible for this,
and If you are very active on all these mediums of information you can see the
biased as well as neutral views of these journalists. A journalists take an oath
– “I will perform my duty as a responsible journalist towards my country and my
profession”. But what am I doing now? Am I really representing the way it is
supposed to be represented? Answer of this question we all know and sadly I
have to say it is not the right phase of journalism which is going on. Most of
the big journalists of today have a very influential family background they
have not become big because of their honest and dedicated service in the field
rather influent has helped them become what they are today.
There are so many examples
of biased reporting are going on at present in the news – which is quite
shameful. A Journalist should not favor a government rather report the event as
it is - and if possible with all its pros & cons. Unfortunately now a day we
don’t see any such reporting these days. At present most of these big media
houses are either being owned by big business family or under the influence of big
political party. And that is why they
can’t stay neutral or unbiased - one of the recent example on which a rage is
going on in opposition these days is of “Central Vista project” of Central
Government many of us know what it is. But the way it has been presented to
masses and which raise the question about journalists and their reporting and
of course it is not neutral reporting by many big journalists. This is a fine
example of agenda setting politics and in which lots of renowned journalists
playing important part by supporting the opposition political party. What the
opposition saying at present - the country is suffering from COVID-19 - why the
government is continuing with this project?
Where a big amount is involved we should rather postpone this project or
suspend it for the time being and fight and help the people who are suffering
from this. If you go back in history –
you will come to know that this project of building a new Parliament House and
some new Ministerial buildings were proposed long time back. It never took
place because a very long period rather between 1989 – 2014 no single party majority
government ruled India. In spite of urgent need of a new building was required
to run the administration smoothly. The present government took initiative and
decided to go ahead with this long pending project. Central Vista Project is
one big project - like this several projects are going on in different parts of
the country which are equally important. But the journalists are not interested
in reporting those projects but this one because it is taking place in New
Delhi. Of course on one hand it does make sense of suspending the project at
present but on the other hand if we’ll stop the project it will slowdown the
speed of the economic growth of the country. The government is providing uninterrupted
employment to lot of workforce at this adverse time. In the history of Modern and Medieval as well
as in Ancient India we have many examples where the Kings initiated projects to
provide their subjects work when the subjects didn’t have any work to take care
of their families. Certainly this
example is not the comparison or I am saying government is doing the right
thing. It is just an example.
I have a suggestion – it is in practice in couple of countries BBC England and DW Germany are the example where news agencies do not come directly under the government undertaking. And they are independent bodies there. These two news agencies get money from the tax payers directly to run. This kind of system should also be adopt in our country but in our country we have a slight problem in implementing this system as the government does not get tax from major population and collection is low directly. But we can always donate a little amount from our pocket so this organization can run independently here as well. If you think you can be a responsible citizen of India and you want your country to flourish take a pledge and start donating whatever minimum you can think of giving. This act will certainly give confidence to the organization or the individual journalist whom so ever you think is doing a good job in the field of journalism.

Chinese Imperialism
From British Raaj to Chini
Raaj is that what the world is heading towards? This question must have arisen
in the minds of many thinkers across the globe. The present pandemic has
changed the picture of the world. As we see USA - the super power or the big daddy is on his
knees. And rest of the world is also fighting individually with the pandemic. Over
200 countries are suffering from this COVID-19. Wherever we know the countries having
the best of healthcare system in the world are the worst affected ones. This pandemic has not spared anyone on this
planet.
Many theories are coming out
on COVID-19 and many countries firmly believe in the manmade pandemic theory.
It could be a biological warfare? At present China certainly wants to take over
US in The Trade war and because of this trade war the world is suffering today.
This trade war has taken the world to a different level all together it is more
like Dictatorship fighting Democracy. The Communist Philosophy came to the
world in the beginning of the last century and of course the Idea was different
then what China has adopted at present. I don’t think communist taught anyone
to kill anyone. It is blessing in disguise that after WW II majority of the countries
adopted Democratic way of governance.
Do we know at present how
many countries are opposing China or standing with China openly? Only president
of USA has opposed China openly many times and still doing it, but in webinar G-20
summit he didn’t said a word against China when his counterpart was present in
front of him.. In European countries like Italy, Greece and Hungary opposed
China on this pandemic but now they are standing with China, Germany and France
do not have an opinion. Holland can’t
oppose China because China has invested heavily in Holland. Like Holland there
will be many more countries who will not oppose China. Definitely the world is
divided on COVID-19 and this is not a good sign for world’s health. If you go
back in time after the Second World War USA tried to become super power but the
world divided into two part and we all went into Cold War. Nuclear war was the
threat than and the entire world went into the competition of producing nuclear
weapon. Now the game changer has taken place in the form of COVID-19. After the
collapse of USSR in the year 1991 the world came out of Cold War and officially
or unofficially USA became the Super power. Imagine what will happen when we’ll
come out of this pandemic?
According to the Intellectuals
world over - Chinese government has set the goal for the country to become
Super power by 2049. Economic super power as well as the Military super power
and for achieving this goal China will certainly go to any extent. This could
be dangerous for the world. Of course many believe COVID-19 is one very good
example of ambitious China. In the People’s Republic of China where people doesn’t
have common civil rights which the world enjoy elsewhere. Chinese Philosophy is “ruler is the guardian
of the country and we should obey his decisions” and if China had killed his
own people in the COVID-19 pandemic no one is going to oppose the guardian. And
if someone dares to oppose he will not stay alive for long. Because of this we
don’t see any opposition within the country at large. Government is free to
take decision according to their wish. An example of dictatorship of Chinese government
is seen by the world where the world was observing lockdown and Chinese were
observing imprisonment. Chinese lockdown videos had seen by the world.
The question arises why
China wants to lead the world? The policy what China is adopting these days - providing
worst quality healthcare equipment to fight against COVID-19 pandemic to the
world. The media reports covering the Chinese help has given the insight information
regarding the quality of the products. What exactly China wants to prove to the
world - maybe he wants to show the world “that I am your new Uncle Sam”. At this
pandemic period when each one of us should look after each other the conduct of
Chinese is highly condemnable. But still the help of China to the world will
give China diplomatic edge over the others and certainly this move of China
will help him on international platforms like UN etc. At present it is more
about Global equilibrium.
Another policy what China
has adopted is investing in the stock markets of the other countries and HDFC
incident of India is a very good example of his imperialistic policy. Timely
the media has exposed it and government of India took decision on it and relevant
policy changes have been adopted by the Indian government which certainly fumed
China and they opposed this move of India on international forum. Because of
this pandemic the world is facing the biggest recession after 1930s. Crude oil
prices have gone to its all-time low in the last 18 years. Many Oil giants of
US are almost bank corrupt and at present few things are favoring China in
becoming of his the economic world leader and taking over USA.
On the other hand many
unsolved mysteries are floating regarding spreading of COVID-19 in the world and
how China has come out of it ! When you read the reports regarding Chinese
conspiracy of COVID-19 and who all were involved. It’s more like a plot of a
thriller Hollywood movie where military is mobilized, Secret service is mobilized;
scientists were involve and Police doing their part everyone working simultaneously.
All this is mind boggling. The story goes like - scientists after the irruption
of COVID-19 have mysteriously eloped from the face of the earth many scientists
got killed in neutral countries. A fugitive got caught at the US airport with
virus in his bag. A team of 9 scientists from IIT Delhi have researched upon
COVID-19 and came on a conclusion in which they said “it is a manmade virus”
their report got published in an US Journal but because of Chinese government opposition
and a pressure from strong Pharmaceutical manufacturing lobby of the world the
team of scientists from India had to withdraw their papers and since then few
of the scientists from that group of nine are untraceable. It sounds scary but
it is true. Another angle about sudden out bursting of COVID-19 was not planned
for now, instead it was a part of the preparation of future biological war of Chinese
government but a mistake by an intern in Wuhan laboratory it has spread out in
the public. And I am sure in the near future we’ll see a movie on this story
line from Hollywood.
Other possibilities what the
world might see after this pandemic will over – the world will be divided into
many alliances one prominent alignment of that division will be of China
favoring countries and another will be US favoring countries or may be another big
daddy like US will born by then and a new alignment will form. The situation of
the world at present is very unpredictable. At present let’s all wait and watch
for the future alignment. In the world politics certainly India will have to play
an important role in this part of the future world. A race is going on between
the US and China for acquiring bigger group support of likeminded countries by
their side. Though China is leading at the moment because of their successful
fight against the present Pandemic and US is still suffering. This Pandemic has
made us learn our lessons and the lesson is “we should not depend upon someone
else for our basic needs”. Certainly this Global Market Policy has caused many
problems to the world and it needs to be rectified now. Otherwise more damage
the world will see in coming time.

Thanks to your Kindness
The News coming to us these days is mostly negative
and heart blowing. The most unfortunate one is the “Palghar” incident. Don’t
know who was wrong there, but definitely the end result was not pertinent.
Most of us must have seen the video of the incident; it definitely had popped
off the heart of many of us. The other aspect of it has led us to think who we
are? Are we actually a civilized society? Are we respecting everyone? How can
we go and take the law in our own hands to punish someone without knowing their
offence? A rumor of abductors has come to the village for kidnapping the kids. Which spared amongst the villagers of Palghar and such an inhumane incident took
place.
And now there are set of people
who are giving this inhumane act a communal angle, few of them have their own latent
agenda through which they just want to blame someone. Few want the resignation
of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. How many of us actually thinking on the
humane angle? I doubt very few, because most of us are still seeing this as an
incident of “wrong time, wrong place”. Of course it was a wrong place and no
one who has died ever thought of this could also be a possibility of moving
your location at night.
Our country which has a
glorious past in which guest has always been considered as a God and God has
arrived to your place and if the guest is a holy man its like icing on the
cake. But then we hear such an incident which has shaken us so badly, it will
take some time to recover from it. Are
we giving thoughts on the real culprit? Many theories are floating on social
and electronic media regarding the incident. There is one thing which we are
experiencing quite a lot since emergence of so many digital medium to express you
these days has made the life of masses very difficult. The fake news industry
is prospering in India since very long. Few of us must be remembering a lot of these
incidents since very long but here I would like to give an example of the early
years of 2000s, a rumor floated about SRKs death and we believed it-it has
spread within hours from North to south and to all corners of the country.
People have started giving their condolences as well. And SRK has to appear
himself to tell I am all right. That was an era of no social media rather we
were still in the early stages of our digital revolution, even then the fake news
has made such a strong impact on the society that we all believed it blindly
and we did not bother for the authentication of the news. This Fake news
industry is the greatest weapon to create a battle amongst the society. And digital
mediums or social media has become the armory to the fake news industry.
Who creates the fake news?
Is this an individual effort or set of people or some organization is working
for the benefit of few people/organization? Yes, there are different objectives
to be achieved according to the place time and target. At present they all are
coming out victorious sometime in the name of religion, cast and creed and
sometime politically motivated. Whatever the goal is, end of the day it is the common
man who is suffering and “Palghar” is the latest example of the innocent lives
being sacrificed.
Why Mob Lynching takes
place? – At times it takes place in the name of religion, for the political
agendas setting, marketing gimmick - you name it and we have a reason for it. Fake
news industry is always working for it. I want to know in Palghar case who is
the beneficiary - of course now we know who the sufferers are. The Sadhus who
died there and afterwards the Villagers who will be facing the aftereffects and
law will punish accordingly but the originator who ignited this event will never
be trapped. And this is frustrating. I
wish we could nab those real culprits because of whom three innocent lives/
were lost and many more will lose in future.
Are we seriously wants to nab down the
real culprits or there is no way through which we can catch them? Imagine these
kinds of unruly miss happenings taking place to unstable the internal security
of the country. As we all know that we are going through pandemic called COVID
19. And we are still struggling to find out its remedy. Of course we’ll come
out of this victorious but simultaneously we have to deal with another fake
news pandemic which is killing the innocent people.
Another theory floating these days where the political “Pandits” are
believing that there is a possibility of purposely instigating this incident -
ever since the lockdown has taken place in India we are looking for blameworthy
and thereafter we have started getting the news in which the media has targeting
the Muslims for spreading the virus. Tabligi Jamat incident and the attack on
the medical staff afterwards has given India a very bad reputation amongst the Muslim
counterpart countries especially the Middle-eastern one’s with whom the present
government has made lot of effort to stabilized the relations. Becayse now a
days majority of Indians are not behaving appropriately with Muslims especialy
in the lower middle class society of India which consist of a larger population
of the country. And this news is crossing borders as well. This definitely has given
bad publicity to the present government.
It will jeopardize the relation between the two countries. Because of
this- the possibility leads to the persecution of Hindu community by the Hindus
itself will balance the situation. There are so many conspiracy theories are
going on and gaining publicity end of the day no one will ever come to know the
truth behind it, but of course the life will move on and we’ll say “Thanks to your kindness, the world has
become warmer place”

Freedom Struggle
The
problem what a common individual is facing at this moment is his/her confinement
to one place for very long now. This has led to the kind of situation which we
have seen in Mumbai. It is not only the migrant labourers who are stuck away
from home but everyone who so ever is stuck at some place away from their home because
of this COVID 19. It is not about the food and money, it is more about the
freedom of wandering freely has been taken away from all of us. Many of us must
have remembered NCC Camp in our School days. I have attended and my experience
was – when I use to attend the Camp only for 10 days in total, but it was very
difficult to pass those 10 days. In NCC camp you have a schedule or a routine
to follow till the time you are in routine everything was fine. The moment you
get out of your routine it becomes difficult to pass your time there. And
exactly this is what we all are experiencing wherever we are stuck at present.
What
we have seen in Mumbai after the PM’S address to the nation was very
unfortunate. This could have been avoided if authorities have acted swiftly. We
should not entirely blame the migrant labourer for this. If you talk to any of
those migrant labourer and ask them what you are missing here. They will never
say they do not have money or food rather they will say we are away from our
family and home this is what we are missing. See who so ever is working as
labours in big cities of India have a family at their native place. Psychology
is - till the time I have a work even I am earning INR 400 a day only it is all
right because I know what would be the evening like when I finish my day. At
present what is happening I am not earning any money nor am I able to spend my
day as I use to do before lockdown. And this is what leading to this kind of
restlessness mentally which we are seeing amongst the people behavior these
days. In my surrounding what my mind is
receiving is the news about a Corona disease which does not have any remedy and
people are dying as of now. This is how my mind has conditioned and that is the
effect which we are seeing on human behavior. This could be one of the main reasons
why I want to reach to my family as soon as possible.
These
days we are talking a lot about immunity of an individual do we know what is
the level of immunity our majority of labour class has? It is 10 times better immunity
than an average middle class of the country. How it is possible? It is possible
because they are all physical workers and have a very good diet. They all have
got stuck at one place where the kind of free food what they are getting
irregularly provided by the NGOs or govt. organizations could not able to
satisfy their requirement and hunger. First it is not regular neither has it had
taste what they like. You have to understand the psychology of this migrant
labourers here and you have to be smarter to make them satisfy with their
demand. Because you being a manager who have a bigger responsibility to stop
COVID 19 from spreading. You as an authority looking at a big picture but me
being a lobour my understanding are only about me and my needs. I am convinced
that I am not suffering from this disease then why I suffer. We have seen
uncivilized behavior from the civilized people as well when they hid their
travel history and not reported it to the authorities then why we are expecting
this from of responsible behavior from these illiterate migrant labourers.
There
are few questions emerges in my opinion which we should answer first and
probably there after we’ll be able to understand this situation perfectly. Imagine we are all stuck at one place from
last 20+days, majority of us do not have a regular routine which we use to have
before the lock-down. How long one can watch TV? I know few can watch TV the
entire day and I am one of them but still it is acceptable when things are
normal.
Quarantine
is house arrest and no one on this planet likes to be confined at one place for
very long, this certainly applies also on to any living being. And the present
situation of ours is not by choice I am at home it is imposed upon me because
of an invisible enemy who is out there looking for innocent life to attack
upon. It is very stressful because of this unseen enemy, over movement is being
restricted at one place majority of us have lost their jobs as well. It is an
uncertain situation which has struck us because of which we could not able to
act and react properly and here I am only talking about the literate middle
class society of our country. Majority of us don’t have money now because if I
will not have any work from where I am going to run my family. What would be
the consequences of this first of all
lot of stress will come on to the mind which can lead to suicidal tendency as well
it is all about how much stress one can take.
I was reading a news in which a young daughter-in-law committed suicide
at her in-law’s place. What was the reason? The reason was she was a newly
wedded bride and wanted to go back to her parents place but could not able to
go because of this lock-down situation. She was from a middle class family
wedded to another middle class family and because she has just arrived at her
new home where everything was unfamiliar to her and suddenly her movement got
restricted little because of the tradition what we follow and rest because of
the lock-down. Mentally she could not able to cope up with this change of her
situation and took this extreme step.
In
this present situation a “social factor” can play a very important role. How?
We can always talk about our concern/problems with our near and dear once
inside of our house, and be positive always. It is a difficult time but it’s
not only for us rather entire world is
facing tough time it does not mean this will never end. In the past our
ancestors have also faced difficult times and came out victorious the same rule
will apply to the present situation as well. Just believe in yourself and face
it with open mind and heart.
Of
course COVID 19 Pandemic is on a killing spree but we should condition
ourselves to defeat this pandemic. Do not let your mind suffer rather indulge
into positive around you. Believe me you and we all will come out of this successfully.
